Because of the low response to the BlackBerry Rocks! 08-09 New Year giveaway, thanks to Electric Pocket, I was able to decide that everyone who did participate is a winner! Not only that, but everything they entered for is theirs too! So if you asked for more than one app, you’re getting them.

Vodafone just launched a BlackBerry Storm software developer competition.
Prizes are as follows:
1st place – 50,000 euros
2nd place -15,000 euros
3rd place -5,000 euros

Now here is a nice way to spread some Christmas cheer!
The good people of Polar Mobile just let me know they have launched a “Be Mobile Santa” campaign.
The purpose of this campaign is to encourage consumers to send applications as holiday gifts to their friends, family and colleagues who own a BlackBerry, iPhone, or Windows Mobile smartphone.
You can choose applications from 6 categories including finance, sports, news, business, lifestyle and real estate. You can also customize a greeting card message to go along with it.
