CrackBerry has been running this contest for a little while now. The contest is over and they have 6 entries so far, 4 more to be chosen.
I’m a fan of Jackass, BlackBerry, and paintballing. This video is awesome, but painful to watch.
Out of all the entries chosen so far, this one has to be the best one yet! At least I think so. I should say most deserving actually. I’ve been hit with paintballs before in skirmishes and the point of the game is to avoid getting hit and hit the other guys. It hurts!
Travis, you have my vote as the best entry so far! Let’s see if the entries that haven’t been chosen yet can top this one.

If you’re in New York City this Thursday, you have to try and stop by Times Square for the Verizon BlackBerry Storm challenge! Here are some details:
WHEN: Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
WHERE: Manhattan – Father Duffy Square
Located in the northern triangle of Times Square on Broadway
between 46th Street and 47th Street
What you basically have to do in this contest is stand inside an oversized BlackBerry Storm while tickets are being blown about around you, and grab as many as you can. Depending on how many you are able to grab you will be eligible to win a BlackBerry Storm and a $50 gift card from Verizon to go towards activation.
I would go since I live in Jersey, but I can’t . If you go though, be sure to take some pictures and send them over to me so I can share them with everyone!

It appears that Verizon wants to have a little fun before releasing the BlackBerry Storm 9530 with a Storm hunt in New York City. The hunt begins November 6, 2008 and ends November 15, 2008 with chances to win daily.
The daily hunt prizes include:
5 grand prize winners will get a BlackBerry Storm and a $50 gift card from Verizon by submitting one keyword that day.
10 first prize winners (if that makes sense) will be getting a $100 gift card from Verizon by submitting on keyword that day.
The prizes for hunting around town include:
Visit 5 Storm locations and submit those 5 keywords for a chance to win a $100 gift card from Verizon.

Vodafone has launched their BlackBerry Storm site, but right now it’s just to sign up and receive info for when it launches, etc. By signing up you are entered into their contest to win a BlackBerry Storm 9500! As BGR pointed out, this means this Storm will be unlockable and useable here in the US and elsewhere.
