Just got an email from the BlackBerry Owners Lounge about a new site RIM started called WinWithBlackBerry.com.

The site is a “recruitement center” for BlackBerry Secret Agents who will complete missions for a chance to win daily prizes or weekly grand prizes.

Simply register for the sweepstakes to become an agent and upon receiving Secret Agent Status you’ll get an entry for the Grand Prize, a trip around the world compliments of BlackBerry and Orbitz.

I recently posted a review for FlipSide, one of my favorite MP3 players. I also have a review for txtForward and PhoneFace Speed-dial. Vodafone just launched a BlackBerry Storm software developer competition.

Prizes are as follows:

• 1st place – 50,000 euros
• 2nd place -15,000 euros

Resourceful developers taking part in the Vodafone innovations competition for the BlackBerry Storm not only have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to win 50,000 euros – the three best software applications will be provided as downloads for all users in the BlackBerry Application Center.

Developers have until 30 April 2009 (11.59 pm, CEST) to submit their applications to Vodafone.

Now here is a nice way to spread some Christmas cheer!

The good people of Polar Mobile just let me know they have launched a “Be Mobile Santa” campaign.

The purpose of this campaign is to encourage consumers to send applications as holiday gifts to their friends, family and colleagues who own a BlackBerry, iPhone, or Windows Mobile smartphone.

You can choose applications from 6 categories including finance, sports, news, business, lifestyle and real estate. You can also customize a greeting card message to go along with it.

These are the applications I found listed:

CrackBerry has been running this contest for a little while now. The contest is over and they have 6 entries so far, 4 more to be chosen.

I’m a fan of Jackass, BlackBerry, and paintballing. This video is awesome, but painful to watch.

Out of all the entries chosen so far, this one has to be the best one yet! At least I think so. I should say most deserving actually. I’ve been hit with paintballs before in skirmishes and the point of the game is to avoid getting hit and hit the other guys. It hurts!

Travis, you have my vote as the best entry so far! Let’s see if the entries that haven’t been chosen yet can top this one.

If you’re in New York City this Thursday, you have to try and stop by Times Square for the Verizon BlackBerry Storm challenge! Here are some details:

• WHEN: Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
• WHERE: Manhattan – Father Duffy Square
  Located in the northern triangle of Times Square on Broadway
  between 46th Street and 47th Street

What you basically have to do in this contest is stand inside an oversized BlackBerry Storm while tickets are being blown about around you, and grab as many as you can. Depending on how many you are able to grab you will be eligible to win a BlackBerry Storm and a $50 gift card from Verizon to go towards activation.

I would go since I live in Jersey, but I can’t . If you go though, be sure to take some pictures and send them over to me so I can share them with everyone!
