Came across a relatively new forum called RIMGeeks where they have developed a nice looking alterative to JL_Cmdr called BBSAK, or BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife, which is currently in its Beta stages.
Needed
.NET Framework 2.0
Main Features
Wipe Blackberry leaving a 507 error
Reset Blackberry to factory state removing any IT Policy
Take Screenshots of your Blackberry.
Install COD Files
If you find some bugs or want to suggest a feature you can do so at the BBSAK Bugs & Suggestions Thread. Since this application is in Beta I would suggest making a backup before using it, just in case.
You can download the BBSAK Installer for your desktop or visit the application page for more info and to follow its updates. Don’t forget to leave some feedback comments!

A new CDK 4.7 bundle is available that fixes a few issues found in the released software. This includes the changing of all the icons and doing an export causing a crash and export of animated sequences being off.

With the leak of OS 5.0 for the BlackBerry Curve 8900 and the Bold 9000, it would only make sense for the BlackBerry Desktop Manager 5.0 to get leaked also.

* UPDATE In my haste to post this (was running late for a class) I placed it in the wrong category. Xobni is actually meant for use on a desktop PC. I posted about it because I thought it was pretty cool with all its features, and because of their new involvement with the BlackBerry Partners Fund. I also changed the screenshots to a demo video so you can see what it’s about. Sorry about the confusion. *
Some highlights from the press release:
Xobni, the popular Outlook search and relationship plugin, today announced an investment from the BlackBerry Partners Fund to bring the company’s Series B round to over $10 million. The company has also removed its beta label with the introduction of Xobni v1.7. The new version of Xobni includes significant performance improvements to its relationship management sidebar and is available as a free download here: http://xobni.com/download
The BlackBerry Partners Fund’s investment allows Xobni to continue developing innovative solutions, including its lightning fast inbox search and powerful relationship management tools.
Since the launch of Xobni’s public beta in May 2008, the company has been working to optimize speed and performance.
Xobni has also enhanced its product offering throughout the past year by developing strategic partnerships with leading content providers including LinkedIn, Facebook, Yahoo! Mail, Skype and Hoover’s.

CrackBerry Kevin was able to get some screencaps of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager 5.0.
There have been plenty of rumors and questions regarding 5.0. Which devices will get it? How soon?
From looking at the screencaps, there doesn’t seem to be anything special besides the version number itself. What might pique some interest is the fact that you need OS 5.0 on your BlackBerry to use BlackBerry Desktop Manager 5.0 .
Click on over to the CrackBerry post to see some more screencaps.
