TetherBerry let me know about a their new desktop and BlackBerry application that makes tethering your BlackBerry to your laptop incredibly simple. Now you can can get high speed internet anywhere you can get cell phone reception!

Trying to figure out how to tether your BlackBerry to your laptop can become frustrating real fast. This is a great alternative that makes tethering easy and stress-free. Right now this application only works when you connect your BlackBerry to your laptop via USB, but TetherBerry hopes to release a Bluetooth version in the future for wireless tethering.
Skinnable dialogue boxes and BB menu without export crash.
Medium profile icon now skinnable.
Application icon skin support.
Increased performance with themes, however leaks memory.
Don’t forget, this is a leaked beta version which is not approved by RIM. Both theme creators and theme users should take caution when creating or using themes with the leaked Plazmic CDK 4.7 beta.

FINALLY! I’ve been waiting for some themes to get made for the BlackBerry Curve 8900, and now they can be! Swapping out wallpapers every now and then isn’t as good as having an awesome theme with fresh, flashy icons.
Although Plazmic CDK 4.7 was leaked and I’m sure everyone is excited about it, CrackBerry Kevin had this warning:
WARNING – Got word that the version of the 4.7 CDK floating around is actually a fairly early beta compared to what will ultimately get released, which means the themes created off this version could have some very unfriendly impact on the devices installed to.
Make sure you know what you’re doing and are prepared to deal with problems in this CDK!

Some highlights from the press release:
Mark/Space, creator of award-winning synchronization software, has announced the release of The Missing Sync for BlackBerry, version 2.0, featuring wireless syncing via Bluetooth and Proximity Sync™, a revolutionary new way to automatically and wirelessly sync contacts, calendars, music, photos, notes and more.
Syncing without thinking has arrived. Remembering to sync is a thing of the past because Proximity Sync does it automatically, every time.
For example, a photo taken on the BlackBerry will automatically sync to iPhoto on the Mac, and a new contact entered on the BlackBerry will automatically sync to Address Book the next time the two devices are near one another.
The Missing Sync for BlackBerry, version 2.0, offers more new and cool features than ever before, including playlist support for iTunes, sync for other media files and video transfer to and from the BlackBerry.
The Missing Sync for BlackBerry, version 2.0, is available immediately as an electronic download from the Mark/Space Online Store for $39.95. A CD version will be available soon for $49.95.

Makayama let me know that their Media Studio for BlackBerry desktop software has been updated to version 2.5 and now supports the BlackBerry Storm, among other previously supported BlackBerrys.
From the description:
Now supports the Blackbery Storm! The easiest software to transfer DVDs directly to your Blackberry. Convert and watch movies, YouTube video, home videos and much more on the Blackberry Pearl (8100&8200-series), Curve (8300-series), 8800-series, the new Blackberry Bold and Storm.
You can take movies from DVD, but also recorded TV, downloaded Youtube content, or videos from your camcorder, and with 2 clicks convert those into a small file, which will play on the Blackberry’s built-in video player. Enjoy movies with an amazingly sharp picture and stereo CD-quality sound. New Cyberspeed technology allows up to 400% faster DVD-to-Blackberry conversions. In 45 minutes you can put a feature film on your device.
