Application Loader /nojvm (an icon in the left pane) is now a “Protected Control”
Settings page overhauled. Phasing out the original selector for an individual Java Loader exe
Added new Java Loader section and controls – much nicer!
The old Java Loader Version Check is being phased out as it is no longer needed.
If you don’t have this application yet I suggest you get on it! This is definitely one of those must have applications of you like maintaining your BlackBerry. You don’t have to get the beta if you don’t want to test it out, but check out the latest stable version.

I’ve been using the beta version of this application, but it is now officially released and out of beta. One word to describe this application…awesome!
Is has everything you would ever need when it comes to maintaining your BlackBerry, from the basic Desktop Manager functionality to more advanced usage like using Java Loader commands and all that. If you check out the screenshot above, you can see exactly what is does and what it has.

Think you’re ready for the upcoming Black Friday and Christmas shopping craze? You aren’t till you have your shopping list ready. I’m not talking about carrying around a notepad with a pen, I’m talking about the ultimate digital shopping list assistant, SplashShopper for BlackBerry. Here’s a review with pictures:
The icon for the application is obvious with the shopping cart. The application itself is pretty fast and didn’t freeze once while I used it.
Once you start the application you will be taken to the sample lists, which you can use and play with to get the hang of the application. In the main screen you will see “Need” and “Total.” Need is what you need to buy and Total is the total amount of items you have listed in the shopping list. Let’s create a list.

A friend of mine let me know that BlackBerry Media Sync has been updated, and it now supports the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220, the BlackBerry Bold 9000, and the BlackBerry Storm 9530.
With BlackBerry Media Sync you can sync your desktop iTunes music files with your BlackBerry.
Sorry Mac users, I only see support for PCs right now. If you’d like to know when it will be available for Mac you can click here and sign up for a notification.

Here is something very cool. Sgt-d is working on this application that will essentially give you total control of the factory loaded items on your BlackBerry. One big thing I know everyone can appreciate is the option to remove preloaded wallpaper, but from reading more about this application I can tell it’s going to be a hit. This application is Javaloader on steroids!
Features:
Performs almost all JavaLoader functions graphically.
Upgrade/Downgrade to any device OS that is installed on your computer – without having to uninstall other OS’s.
Relocates OS files to the same locations as CrackMem, so you can switch between MCP or CrackMem at will.
MCP is available via Windows Control Panel after installation.
Easy to access shortcuts to the most common BlackBerry tools.
Install any operating system upgrading or downgrading with lots of options
Take screenshots
& Launch a bunch of other BlackBerry tools and utilities
The application is in its Alpha stage, and can currently be downloaded for free. For more info or to download BlackBerry Master Control Program, click here.
