This video was posted by Spike to promote yesterday’s iTunes release of their new short, We Once Were a Fairytale. In it, Kanye West can’t stop texting on his BlackBerry while director Spike Jonze attempts to talk him through a video, pissing him off to the point that he slaps Kanye to get his attention.
I’ve gotten dirty looks but have yet to be slapped for not being able to put my BlackBerry down . Can anyone relate? If so share your slap moment in the comments!

Getting a haircut for a hardcore BlackBerry addict can sometimes be challenge if you can’t fight the urge to check it for at least 30 minutes. That’s where the iCape comes in!
The iCape allows you to continuously use your smartphone while you are getting a haircut (or other styling) without the risk of wetting, scratching or otherwise damaging it.
Key features:
Clear Window
The heart of the iCape is the clear, flexible vinyl window in the lap area of each cape. In most models the window is 6” by 8”, perfect for phones and other devices.
PrivacyPouch
A large pocket on the inside of the cape covers the clear window, giving the wearer total privacy and a place to put their device.
CordCover
A small flap near the clear window lets a headphone cord through but keeps water and chemicals out.
I know salons will grab these, but what I really want to know is how many of you will recommend these to your salon on your own? Would you go to a salon using the iCape over one that doesn’t?
Here’s another question…how many of you would buy one and take it to your salon when you have a haircut? They are available for $17.95 each.
(This made me laugh so I added it to the Humor category as well.)
For more info visit iCape.biz or check out the press release after the jump.

Great find by CrackBerry Kevin. In this video David Letterman makes believe he doesn’t know what Twitter is about so Kevin Spacey (aka @KevinSpacey) takes out his BlackBerry Bold to show him how it’s done.

Alice Wang has created a “Commodity Love” badge that will allow you to tell the world “I love my BlackBerry more than my girlfriend.”
Sorry ladies, there doesn’t seem to be one that says “I love my BlackBerry more than my boyfriend,” but there are a few other ones I’m sure you’d like .
Each badge goes for $29 with free shipping to the US and Canada. Check out Alice Wang’s Commodity Love badges and let me know if you decide to pick one up!
One more thing. I’d recommend not wearing these in front of your girlfriends, guys. Just saying…
Just came across this video in MetaCafe. It’s dated April 25, 2006 but it’s the first time I’ve seen it.
It doesn’t really matter how old this video is because the same definitely applies to BlackBerry addicts today, tomorrow, even twenty years from now. You can’t tell me you wouldn’t try and come up with some crazy scheme to get yourself a Blackberry like the guy in the video did . If you’re a true BlackBerry addict that is…

No, you did not read that wrong. Apparently the Chinese shanzhai phone maker is using Barack Obama’s BlackBerry addiction (lol) to their advantage, and using it to promote their new BlockBerry 9500 phone.
Check out the features:
Windows Mobile 6.1
460MHZ proccessor
3.2 inch touchscreen
WIFI and bluetooth connectivity
Sirf III GPS
3G and EDGE
The poster’s slogan is “Obama have Blackberry, I have blockberry.” This gave me a good laugh.
I’m not sure how legal this is (or if they even care) but I’m sure they’ll be getting a call from the White House and RIM about it.

David from CrackBerry could not have put it any better:
Cost of a bowl of soup at homeless shelter: $0.00 dollars
Having Michelle Obama serve you your soup: $0.00 dollars
Snapping a picture of a homeless person who is receiving a government funded meal
while taking a picture of the first lady using his $500 BlackBerry cell phone: Priceless
Note: No one is making fun of this person’s jobless/homeless situation, just pointing out the irony of the picture.

Most of us are guilty of these things. In this video, Jerry Seinfeld discusses the habits of BlackBerry users with Conan O’Brien. You can’t help but laugh out loud even though he’s making fun.

Mike240se has updated the free TWSS (That’s What She Said) application for the BlackBerry Storm to version 1.08.
Update includes:
New Mode “B” which allows you to click on specific office characters (jim, pam, dwight, michael) to hear a TWSS quote from them. Works in both portrait and landscape.
New Auto-Run Mode which when enabled, plays a TWSS clip when the app is loaded, which allows you to put it on a convience key to have it ready for that perfect moment! (can also put it on your homescreen, etc)
Volume now adjustable using the devices up and down keys which also allows the app to be much louder than before as requested.
Misc improvements.
Features:
Over 20 office sound clips, organized into 2 different sets.
