Mike240se has updated the free TWSS (That’s What She Said) application for the BlackBerry Storm to version 1.08.
Update includes:
New Mode “B” which allows you to click on specific office characters (jim, pam, dwight, michael) to hear a TWSS quote from them. Works in both portrait and landscape.
New Auto-Run Mode which when enabled, plays a TWSS clip when the app is loaded, which allows you to put it on a convience key to have it ready for that perfect moment! (can also put it on your homescreen, etc)
Volume now adjustable using the devices up and down keys which also allows the app to be much louder than before as requested.
Misc improvements.
Features:
Over 20 office sound clips, organized into 2 different sets.

Remember the video where a BlackBerry symbolically shoots through an Apple? Someone in the Apple community felt the need respond to it. I think there are going to be a couple more of these before they die out .

Warning: This application and website have content that may be offensive.
That being said, I came across a thread in the CrackBerry Forums where member gregzav (aka GZ Software) has created a simple application that allows you to follow everyday FMLs on your BlackBerry. This application is called FMyLife.
Now, if you need me to explain what FMyLife stands for, you should not be downloading this application .
From the description:
A free application for the wonderfully addictive website, FMyLife
Features:
View the FML’s straight from this application, along with their comments!
Price: FREE!
…
Pretty straight forward. Although this application and site may contain offensive material (which happen to be funny haha), there is a whole lot of non-offensive, clean and funny material, like the screenshot above. You know I had to pick the FML with a BlackBerry mention in it .
Carlos Ray “Chuck” Norris (born March 10, 1940) is an American martial artist, action star and television and film actor who is known for action roles such as Cordell Walker on Walker, Texas Ranger and for his iconically tough image and roundhouse kick.
From the description:
Displays a random Nuck Chorris facts when a key, screen, or trackball is pressed.
Features:
600+ Facts
Copy Facts to Clipboard
Change Name Function (Saves on exit/reboots)
Goto Your Favorite Facts with Fact Numbers
Price: $3.00
…
NuckChorris is compatible with any BlackBerry model (8000+) on OS 4.5, 4.6 and 4.7. Some may find certain facts offensive, so be warned.

Mike240se has released TWSS App, another fun and free application for the BlackBerry Storm.
From the description:
Its finally here. The number of “I must have it now….” , “Thats What She Said” on the forum thread is incredible. I never anticipated so much demand for this app. BUT, because of the excitement I wanted to add some goodies to the app before i released it. So in addition to having over 20 sound clips, all from your favorite show, the office. The app also has 6 wallpapers, and works in both portrait and landscape mode. This app took many hours to complete, many were spent re-sizing mp3’s and wallpapers to keep the app from getting huge. This app is FREE, like all my apps, so I ask you to please donate. I am self employed, so all the time I take doing apps is time away from making money at work. I need your donations to continue. Thank you.

BGR posted a hilarious video where the Verizon network sneaks up to and follows an unsuspecting customer. The reaction from the guy they follow is hilarious! You have to check this video out.

This is interesting. Apparently, the GOP (among other officials) are now on Twitter!
I had to post this under the Humor category also because it made me laugh. “jasoninthehouse”
By Ki Mae Heussner:
Republicans Embrace Twitter, Even During Closed-Door Meetings
President George W. Bush wasn’t exactly what you’d call an active user of “the Internets.”
And, during the presidential campaign, Sen. John McCain admitted his own lukewarm relationship with the computer.
But now that the GOP is without a branch of government to call its own, Republicans in Congress are turning to technology’s latest trend to re-establish their political power, 140 characters at a time.
Fifty members of Congress use the micro-blogging service Twitter to communicate with constituents, according to the Sunlight Foundation, a non-partisan watchdog group that advocates for greater transparency through technology.
One might think that the party of our BlackBerry-wielding, text-happy president would be the one to lead the way in this ever-expanding Twitter-verse.
But, in Congress, it appears that, according to Sunlight, Twittering Republicans outnumber their Democratic counterparts almost 2 to 1.

CrackBerry Forums member Nelekele decided it was time to try and make something more than just Mac N’ Cheese, so he decided to bake a BlackBerry Storm cake!
Besides this being funny, the cake doesn’t look that bad. I love chocolate.
What a way to feed the addiction!
Definitely check out the thread for some funny replies to Nelekele’s cake post.
