The free Shortcovers eBook application for BlackBerry has been updated to version 1.3.500.

Shortcovers is an application that allows you to discover thousands of bestselling books, chapters, news and magazine articles, short stories, blog posts and more. I’m not sure what was updated in this version but here are the current features:

Qik for BlackBerry has been updated to version 0.1.15, now with Twitter, YouTube and Facebook integration.

Qik is an application that allows to to stream videos right from your BlackBerry to the Qik website, and then you can optionally post it to other social networks. Qik uses data to connect and stream the videos over your regular cellular network or via Wi-Fi. In order to share videos through other social network sites you need to first set up your accounts through the Qik site, not through the BlackBerry client.

Qik currently supports the BlackBerry Pearl 8120 and 8130, Curve 8300 series and the 8900, and the Bold 9000.

Evernote let me know that their free BlackBerry application is now available for the Curve 8300, 8310, 8320, 8330, and 8350i. Evernote was originally only available for the Curve 8900, Bold and Storm.
