SpoofAPP, a Caller ID spoofing application, is now available for BlackBerry.

SpoofAPP is a revolutionary Caller ID Spoofing, Voice Changing, and Call Recording application. With SpoofAPP you can change the Caller ID Number people see when you make calls from your phone. You get to decide what number you want displayed when you make a call. SpoofAPP is a program that transmits your call information to a Caller ID Spoofing Provider which handles the actual calling.

For anyone wondering if the use of this application is legal, yes it is, but it also depends on why/how you’re using it and what state you’re calling from/to. For more info check out the SpoofAPP FAQ.

SpoofAPP requires a SpoofCard to work, which isn’t free. Think of it as a calling card. Here is the pricing info:

  • $4.95 (25 Credits)
  • $9.95 (60 Credits)
  • $19.95 (130 Credits)
  • $39.95 (270 Credits)
  • $79.95 (560 Credits)

Credit usage is dependent on the rate for the country you are calling from. For example, the US rate is one credit per minute. You also need a data connection, WiFi does not currently work with this app.

To download SpoofAPP visit spoofcard.com/bb from your BlackBerry Browser.

If you get this app and have a funny spoof to share be sure to leave it in the comments!

Origin8 Technologies just let me know that they have released Fake My Call for BlackBerry.

Fake My Call imitates a real incoming phone call to get you out of uncomfortable situations, like a bad date or if you’re in a boring meeting. You can also set it up to make it seem like you’re getting a phone call from a specific person, like a celebrity! I’m not sure how believable that one would be but it’s still a nice feature.

Features:

  • Accurate default call and conversation screen for the phone model.
  • Ability to choose your own screen to replace the default one.
  • Full choice of ringtones, vibrations and LEDs, using the Blackberry’s own notification set up.
  • Stealth start up, which when combined with a convenience key can allow you to “receive” a call whilst in a meeting with no-one suspecting a thing.
  • Playback an audio file as the “other caller” to increase the deception, or just to wind up your friends and colleagues.

Fake My Call is available for $2.99 with a trial available and is compatible with BlackBerry devices on OS 4.2, 4.3, 4.5, 4.6 and 4.7.

Let me know what you think of this app in the comments!
