A few days ago I told you about the free Vodafone Update client for BlackBerry that allows you to update your Twitter and Facebook statuses. Widgetlabs left a comment letting me know that they have released Vodafone Update v2.0.1 with the following features:

• Copy&Paste
• AutoText
• BIS Connections

Today’s deal of the day is for RDM+ Remote Desktop for Mobiles by SHAPE Services. The development of the WordPress for BlackBerry application is coming along nicely with regular updates and plenty of bug fixes. Today v0.9.0.140 was released with the following changes:

• Improving response time of the user interface (ticket #58 UI response time)
• Removingthe photo multimedia option in the app because photo settings are managed in the main BlackBerry camera app
• Fixing a bug with local drafts (ticket #57)
• Adding prompts to save post when clicking “Back” button (ticket #59)
• Fixing a bug involving categories (ticket #60)
• Fixing how private posts were not publishing correctly (ticket #61)

Along with this update the WordPress team is working with RIM to add BIS support! Right now there is no ETA for that feature.

The last time I mentioned the WordPress for BlackBerry application it was at v0.9.0.121. Since then it has gotten three updates and is now at v0.9.0.134, this one being a big upgrade including some important fixes.

Here is the changelog:

• XML-RPC discovery upgrade
• Fix for the category field not being focusable
• Added a paste option to the link assistant (thanks acedanger)
• Added menu item to check if there is a newer version of the app
• Big improvements on how the app handles images. App can now work with jpeg and png image, without format conversion.

The last time I mentioned BOLT Browser was back in early April. Since then it seems like Bitstream has been working hard with the release of their new BOLT Browser Beta 3, now faster with improvements on existing features.

New Bolt Browser features:

• Copy and paste text
• Enter and edit text directly within online text boxes
• Upload files such as videos to YouTube or pictures to Photobucket
• Order favorites and arrange them into custom folders
• Toggle between viewing websites with or without images displayed
