Fido has launched the BlackBerry Pearl 8100 in Canada.

For the hefty price tag of $400 month-to-month or $25 over 3-years you can enjoy a smaller but older BlackBerry!

I kind of feel sorry for those on the Fido network who have been waiting for a BlackBerry just to get one of the older models. I would wait for a newer model or import it, if possible.

Troy from BlackBerryNews just let me know about some posts he just put up showing some leaked slides from a Rogers/Fido presentation for their 2009 lineup.

So far it looks like they have the 3G Pearl Flip 8210 or 82XX, Pearl 8110, Curve 8900, and 3G Storm 9520 lined up for Q1 of 2009.
