Hastings has released a premium version of his AppleBerry theme, called the AppleBerry Theme Suite!

Hopefully a version will come out for other BlackBerrys because this theme rocks!

Hastings, the creator of the AppleBerry theme, has just released a new version called AppleBerry Glass 1.0 for the BlackBerry Storm.

AppleBerry Glass 1.0 features:

• New feature: Stacks! Your icon bar now houses your first three icons and the fourth is a “folder” containing icons 4, 5, 6, and 7. When you touch the folder the icons spring out and remain out until you decide to tuck them back away.
• The homescreen contains a very complex SVG file, allowing not only Stacks, but also allowing you to click on the top banner to pull up your Profile Menu, and click anywhere on the screen to pull up your Application Menu.
• Redesigned dialogue boxes.
• Redesigned buttons.
• New default wallpaper on the home screen. If you’d like the default blue one again, it’s available on the first page of the AppleBerry thread under the FAQ section.

Hastings has released AppleBerry v0.8.8 for the BlackBerry Storm. Originally only one version, hastings has created three other versions of AppleBerry all of which are available for FREE!

Changes:

• Fixed “techno” font that was above the Browser, Task list, etc.
• Increased menu font size. (Highly requested)
• New signal strength bar.
• New Voicemail icon.
• Adjusted PictureID location during Active Call.
• Minor font adjustments throughout, should be clearer to see dates and times.
• On AppleBerry 8, moved from 9 appointment view to 8. This allowed for a bigger “touch area” to get to your App menu easier.
• Other minor adjustments.

CrackBerry Forums member hastings has finally released his AppleBerry theme for the BlackBerry Storm. I say finally because A LOT of people have been waiting for this theme to get released, even though he first posted about it last week. Over 1300 replies to his post!

After a hundred hours of development and approximately 16,000 cups of coffee I’ve managed to finish the first public beta for CrackBerry community consumption. (try saying that 10 times fast)

WTF?: Yep…free.
Style: Today theme style, calendar and email only show up when the icon on the homescreen is highlighted.
OS Support: This theme should work fine on all devices. However it is large, clocking in at exactly 1MB and as such older OS’, like .75 may lag a bit. .103 works excellent.

A note from hastings:

Before you download, absolutely uninstall any previous versions of AppleBerry and any other themes you do not use. This helps with performance tremendously.

Go into Options -> Advanced Options -> Applications -> “com_plazmic_theme_AppleBerry” and press the BB hardware key, select Delete.
