7digital has launched a mobile application that allows BlackBerry users to wirelessly browse, search, discover and purchase tracks from their catalogue of over seven million MP3 tracks.
“We’re excited to be bringing high-quality MP3 over-the-air downloads to the BlackBerry platform. This application demonstrates exactly why we developed our API, to allow third-party developers to integrate digital music download functionality into their product offerings,” said Ben Drury, CEO of 7digital. “The ability to buy tracks and albums on the move, or on impulse, is what the consumer wants.”
Features:
- High quality, DRM-free MP3 music store
- Latest charts, new music and weekly features
- Flexible downloads via wireless carrier or WiFi with auto-replace
- Integrated advanced media player
- Headset, speaker and Bluetooth audio streaming support
The 7digital app is available for the BlackBerry Curve 8520 and 8900, Bold, Storm and Tour. You can download it by visiting 7digital.com/bb from your BlackBerry Browser or check it out in the BlackBerry App World. More info in the press release after the jump.
