• Added support for User1, User2, User4, User4, Birthday, Anniversary fields in Contact backup and restore.
• Fixed a SMS restore and backup bug where outgoing SMS message greater than 160 characters were not being backed up properly and impacted the restore of SMS.

Electric Pocket let me know that they have launched their latest BlackBerry application called Twitterlerts.

Twitterlerts helps a user monitor Twitter by automatically scanning it for the chosen topics, alerting the user to important changes, and letting them tweet or share tweets right from their BlackBerry.

I know there’s been a free version of GPSed around for a while, but this one came in to me as being “new”. I think it might be because of the Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and Blogger integration.
