Rumor: Leaked, Live Photos & Video Of The Limited Edition BlackBerry Bold R47 9980!
When I first heard of the rumored BlackBerry Bold “R47″ 9980 I pretty much dismissed it as a fake, photoshopped device since the first bunch of pictures were of very low quality. Then Chinese BlackBerry fan site BerryCN decided to post a lot of live photos and even got a live video of it in action for all to see, which I couldn’t ignore. According to them, this will be a “limited edition luxury device”. The info, photos and video show the Bold 9980 as functional and powered by the BlackBerry 7 OS.
According to another set of rumors, this device was designed by European auto manufacturer Porsche and is called the “BlackBerry Knight” but this is also not confirmed. You can check out the BlackBerry R47 photos and video below and feel free to share your thoughts about it in the comments or in the forums!
BlackBerry Bold “Touch” 9900 Gets Another Preview With High Resolution Photos & Video!
I don’t know about you but I have yet to get tired of BlackBerry Bold 9900 news and previews especially after getting some hands-on time with it at BlackBerry World this year. The latest site to join the preview fun is IntoMobile with a bunch of great, high-resolution photos and a 5-minute long video posted by Marin. Courtesy of Negri Electronics, Marin seems very pleased with the Bold 9900′s hardware/software and does a great job of quickly showing it off to us in his photos and video. RIM needs to get this BlackBerry out the door ASAP!
The BlackBerry Bold 9900 doesn’t take too many chances with its design, as you can instantly tell that it’s a Bold. That’s perfectly okay in my book because this design is nearly perfect for those wanting a full QWERTY keyboard. And what a keyboard. As you’d expect from a BlackBerry, the Bold 9900 has an excellent keyboard – the frets and grooves make it simple to hit the correct key each time and the travel-back is excellent.
Research In Motion has managed to make this the thinnest Bold yet, as the handset is light and sleek but it still feels like a premium device. The silver metallic bezel looks and feels classy but I’d be concerned about it getting scratched up over the long term. I have no qualms with the size or weight of the device.

Photo Gallery: Inside The BlackBerry PlayBook Tour Truck
Last week I let you know that RIM was traveling across the east and west coast in the United States and parts of Canada with a BlackBerry PlayBook Tour truck. I was able to make the one at the New Meadowlands Stadium in New Jersey yesterday and have a bunch of photos for you all to go through. The PlayBook Tour truck has a really nice setup and is a lot bigger than I thought it would be, complete with seating, a big screen for the theater, a bunch of TVs showing different features of the PlayBook, plenty of PlayBooks to play with and more. There were also plenty of BlackBerry fans from the concert in the truck, some of which couldn’t resist asking for us to take their picture
.
