In June 2014, BlackBerry entered into a licensing deal with Amazon Appstore. Through this deal, the Canadian phone maker hopes to bring over 200,000 apps to BB 10 users when the latest version of their OS (BB 10.3) launches in the autumn.
This is good news for both developers and consumers. When developers offer their BlackBerry apps through Amazon, consumers will have access to more apps. Developers also get greater opportunities to monetize their BlackBerry apps. By submitting their apps to Amazon Appstore, they can reach more BlackBerry users.
BlackBerry is ready to provide more assistance to help developers take better advantage of this opportunity. And for this purpose, Blackberry is offering three webcasts. While the first webcast will show developers how they can benefit from the Amazon Developer Program, the second one will show them how they can get practical tips from experts at Amazon and BlackBerry. The third webcast is a live Question and Answer session. Each of these webcasts will be approximately 60 minutes in duration. Register today to ensure that you will have all the details you want.
