Guess what Blackberry 10 gamers! Gameloft is currently offering N.O.V.A. 3 totally free for the Blackberry Z10. I’m not quite sure how the free version differs from the premium version (which is currently $6.99 in Blackberry World) but hey, beggars can’t be choosers, right?
The free version is now available to more countries, including Canada, the US, and the UK. Previously, it the free version was only available in Mexico, Australia, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand. It seems odd that it the game was released this way, but oh well, it doesn’t matter now.
N.O.V.A. 3 is a phenomenal game, so if you haven’t had the opportunity to try it out make sure you hit up our Blackberry World widget below. It won’t cost you a dime, but it will cost you 2GB of storage space. As always, make sure you download the necessary data via a Wi-Fi connection because it will be faster and less expensive (don’t want to use up any more of that valuable mobile data than you have to).
To fill you in a bit, N.O.V.A. 3 is a first person shooter, with a sci-fi twist. The best part is that it offers console quality gameplay and visuals on a mobile device. It’s been available for iOS and Android devices for some time now, and it came to Blackberry World a while ago, but the free version is certainly new.
N.O.V.A. 3 offers an expansive single player campaign, unrestricted multiplayer gaming with online connectivity and matches, and lots of cool stuff! If you love the Halo series, or first person shooters in general, then you won’t be disappointed by this game. I’m even willing to say that it’s one of the best mobile games ever.

As you can tell by the screenshots, it’s full of hard hitting action, blazing guns and off the wall explosions. It’s like a sci-fi action movie jam packed all into your little Z10. Here’s a quick summary of the storyline, and did I mention that it’s pretty good for an FPS?
Four months have passed since Kal ruined the Volterites’ plans by sabotaging their war factories, and stopping the extraction of the Judger Artifacts. However, following the assassination of President Folsom, the government surrendered the colonies to the Volterite Protectorate in order to prevent civil war.
Kal Wardin has been laying low since Folsom’s death, but now he has received a desperate plea from Yelena to come to Earth. Once again, the hero must rise to save mankind!
Now if only Modern Combat 4 would just release on Blackberry 10, we’d be all set! Modern Combat 4 is like the mobile version of Call of Duty. It’s a massive hit too, so if you’ve never heard of it then you’re probably living under a rock.
