Here are short reviews of some cool new apps we discovered this week. While some of these are BlackBerry apps, others are Android apps that can be downloaded from Amazon Appstore. Both free and paid apps are included in this list.

Pintagram

This is a third-party app for the instant messaging client called Telegram. Telegram allows its users to send and receive self-destructing and encrypted videos, files, photos and messages. And now a BlackBerry developer has created an unofficial version of Telegram for BlackBerry 10. The BB version is called Pintagram. It allows BlackBerry users to take advantage of the group chat and cloud storage capabilities of Telegram. They can also send files of up to 1GB. This is a free app that is also integrated with Hub. Better still, there are no annoying ads.

Auto SMS

All of us have been through this situation. You don’t want to send a reply instantly, but you want to send it nonetheless. This simple app allows you to set a specific time for sending your messages. It offers a broadcast feature, active frame support and contact integration. It has a simple interface. You can download this app from BlackBerry World for $0.99. It is compatible with all BB 10 devices.

Tap Heroes

Tap Heroes is a simple yet interesting game to kill time. Gameplay is easy, but speed matters. You have to quickly beat the monster in a limited time. This will allow you to collect coins and progress to the next level. There are over 200 levels. The graphics are simply amazing and the game is good enough to keep you engaged for hours. This is a free app. It is compatible with BlackBerry Z30, Z3, Z10, Q5 and Q10.

Goodreads

If you enjoy reading, you will definitely have heard of Goodreads.  Goodreads allows users to register books. You can review what you are reading, find new books and also discover what your friends are reading. This is a great app for all book lovers. You can download it from the Amazon Appstore.

BB apps Follow Mail

If you want to enhance the email experience and Hub on BlackBerry 10, you should definitely check out Follow Mail. It serves three purposes. First, it sends follow up reminders for email messages. Second, it sends an alert when you receive a reply for a particular email. Third, it is integrated with Turbo Reader so that you can read your emails quickly. Everybody wants to improve their productivity and by helping you to get your things done faster, this app makes you more productive. It is compatible with all BB 10 devices. It runs $1.99.

Head Words

If you like the Heads Up game, you will definitely be impressed with this BlackBerry app. Head Words is a guessing game that you can play with your friends. It is great for playing at parties. It is compatible with all BB 10 devices. It is a free game.
