We discovered quite a few interesting apps for BlackBerry 10 this week. Here is a quick overview.

Pomotodo

All of us want to complete our tasks on time and technology has made this easier. Pomotodo is a simple app based on the Pomodoro technique which improves your concentration by training your brain in special ways. Pomotodo was previously only available for iOS, Android and PCs. Now the developers have also launched an Android port for BlackBerry. This is a cross-platform application that you can download for free from BlackBerry World. It allows you to track tasks, create ‘to-do’ lists on your device and sync those lists to your computer and the cloud. The app even offers monthly graphs. It stores all of your projects and tasks in one place and thus allows you to access them anywhere. Pomotodo is highly recommended for everyone searching for a good time management application. It is free.

F Terms

Want to have easy access to common and not-so-common financial terms? You should definitely check out F Terms. This simple app provides the definitions of more than 180 financial terms. It has a simple interface and provides detailed explanations. It can be downloaded for $0.99.

Ozba Ball

Ozba Ball is a great science game to kill time. It is similar to ‘Balance on Windows’. You have to navigate the ball through obstacles by tilting your device. Ozba Ball supports all BB 10 devices. It can be downloaded for free.

Tap Titans

This is a free game that you can download from Amazon Appstore. Your duty is to restore peace by killing the evil Titans. By tapping repeatedly, you can attack and kill, collect gold, unlock artifacts, hire heroes etc. It is so simple that you can play it without any skills. The graphics and animation are excellent. Also, the game can be quite addictive. You have to kill 60 unique monsters and explore 10 environments. You can hire 30 heroes along the journey and there are 30 artifacts that will give you special skills. This is a free game.

Bb Apps Wish Pix

We have already seen several apps that allow us to insert text on images and create a unique personalized effect. But Wish Pix is different in many ways. It makes it easy to insert text. It takes stock images belonging to different categories and lets you modify them by inserting text. So, for example, if you select an image of a birthday cake, you can change the name on the cake with the name of your choice. You will be able to save the image and share it with the person whose name you have written on it. All images are of great quality. This is a free app.

Ringtones for BlackBerry 10

This simple app allows you to access 148 ringtones for free. You can assign them to any notification or app. The app will redirect to a website from where you can download the ringtones. The site may display ads, but you don’t have to pay anything to download the ringtones. This is also a free app. It supports all BB 10 devices.
